Simon & Schuster proudly presents
From Staircase to Stage by Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan
Simon & Schuster, through its Gallery Books imprint, is proud to publish From Staircase to Stage: The Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan, the powerful and inspiring memoir from hip-hop icon Raekwon.
In From Staircase to Stage, Raekwon delivers a raw and riveting account of his life — from the stairwells of Staten Island’s Park Hill projects to sold-out stages around the world as a founding member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. With unmatched honesty and poetic grit, he opens up about poverty, creativity, violence, loyalty, and what it means to build a lasting legacy in music and culture.
The memoir was acquired by Jeremie Ruby-Strauss, Vice President and Executive Editor at Gallery Books. The project was developed in close collaboration with Super Femina Entertainment, the powerhouse media and management company founded by Rashida Watler, Raekwon’s longtime manager and strategic partner. Rashida played an instrumental role in the book’s development and creative direction.
From Staircase to Stage is available now in hardcover, ebook, and audiobook — narrated by Raekwon himself.
