SUPER FEMINA CHASES TOP MOVIE SLOTS WITH HULU

Super Femina Entertainment: Behind the Deal That Brought Wu-Tang: An American Saga to Hulu

Super Femina Entertainment played a pivotal role in the development and production of Wu-Tang: An American Saga, the critically acclaimed Hulu original series chronicling the rise of the legendary hip-hop collective. Acting as RZA’s longtime management and business partner, Super Femina was instrumental in facilitating and securing the groundbreaking partnership between RZA and Imagine Entertainment—co-founded by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.

As the strategic engine behind RZA’s media and publishing ventures, Super Femina helped guide the creative and contractual process from concept to greenlight. This included assembling key players, navigating rights and approvals, and ensuring a smooth alignment between RZA’s creative vision and Imagine’s production infrastructure.

Working closely with RZA and co-creator Alex Tse, Super Femina supported the early development of a full concept demo for the series—an essential step that demonstrated the viability and impact of the project. That demo caught the attention of Imagine Television and executive producer Brian Grazer, who quickly recognized the cultural significance and storytelling power of the series.

Grazer, known for producing acclaimed works like Empire, Genius, and numerous award-winning films, described RZA as “the soul and storyteller of Wu-Tang,” underscoring the authenticity and emotional depth he brought to the project.

The resulting partnership between Hulu, Imagine Television, and RZA—spearheaded in part by Super Femina—brought Wu-Tang: An American Saga to life, merging business acumen with creative legacy to honor one of the most influential movements in music history
